Confederate Museum

Atoka Museum and National Register Civil War Cemetery. The Museum is located on Highway 69 at the North edge of Atoka. It is open to the public without charge. The Museum & Information Center hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (closed on national holidays) The Rest Area is open 24 hours a day year round. The Rest Area provides picnic tables under large shade trees & plenty of room to play or walk the pets.  For more information please click the link above.

Atoka Trails Golf Course

Atoka Trails Golf Club

A 9-hole public golf course located on City Lake Road with three holes that border the Atoka City Lake with water coming into play on each hole. The finishing hole must be played over water with an approach shot to the green. There are also asphalt cart paths on every hole of the course.

Boggy Depot

Boggy Depot State Park

The park gets its name from Clear Boggy Creek and from its use as a Confederate commissary depot during the Civil War. In 1972, Boggy Depot was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is now being managed by the Chickasaw Nation. Open year-round, Boggy Depot Park in Atoka features a fishing lake, nature trail, baseball diamond, playground, picnic tables, group picnic shelters, charcoal grills, and comfort stations with showers. Lodging includes 35 acres of campgrounds for tents and RV camping.

McGee Creek
State Park

The Park offers recreational opportunities including water activities, camping, hiking and fishing, as well as hunting in the adjacent McGee Creek Wildlife Management Area. It is a 2,600 acre park with a 3,350 acre Reservoir along 64 miles of shoreline. In the adjacent McGee Creek Wildlife Management Area, hunters will enjoy over 10,000 acres stocked with crow, deer, dove, quail, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, waterfowl and more.

Lake Atoka

Atoka Lake

Oklahoma City constructed the reservoir in 1959. Located North of Atoka, this 5,900 acre lake offers 59 miles of shoreline. Facilities include boat ramps, campsites, a picnic area and playground. For more information call 580-889-3250.
